Henryville High School Alumni Association Annual Newsletter's were mailed yesterday. You should receive your newsletter in the next few days (provided we have your updated mailing address).
The Henryville High School Alumni Banquet will be held on June 9, 2012. Due to the tornado damage at the school, the banquet will be at Safe Harbor Christian Church. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time. The meal will be served beginning at 6:00 p.m. Safe Harbor is located at 3002 Murphy Rd, Memphis IN 47143. (From I-65 at Exit 19, take Hwy 160 East for 3.8 miles. Turn right on Hansbury Rd. Turn right on Murphy Rd. Church will be on right.)
Special recognition will be given to the Golden and Silver Anniversary classes of 1962 and 1987. There were 26 graduates in 1962 and 59 in 1987. Ninety (90) students in the class of 2012 will be recognized as graduates. We will recognize the oldest female, oldest male, and alumnus traveling the farthest. The 50-year and 25-year classes will be seated as a group, as well as the graduating class of 2012. We encourage other classes to make the annual banquet a part of your class reunion and welcome your requests for special seating.
Our theme this year is to honor Military Veterans, EMS, Firemen and Police Officers who graduated from HHS.

If you have served in any of these positions, please check the appropriate box on the reservation form. Please check whether or not you will be attending the Alumni Banquet and return the reservation form with your alumni dues by May 30th. Cost of the dinner provided by Ponderosa is $14.00 per person, plus $5.00 dues per graduate. Please pay your dues even if you are unable to attend the banquet.
Instead of collecting donations for the Alumni Scholarship Fund, this year we are requesting donations for the HHS Library to replace books lost in the tornado. Please mark your donation on the reservation form and make a separate check for your library donation. This donation is tax deductible.
A photographer will be at the banquet to take pictures of the anniversary classes. A group photo of the class of 1962 will be taken and given to all members attending as a gift from the HHS Alumni Association. Photos of the classes of 1987 and 2012 or other classes who want a group photo taken will be $14.00 each.
To help us update our records, please make corrections, such as name changes, deaths and GED's, for family members or friends. Please list the graduation class year for any corrections listed.
